Singalila National Park

Batasia Loop

Situated around 5 km from Darjeeling, Batasia loop is a twisting railroad track where the toy train takes a total 360 degree turn. The toy train declines by 1,000 ft. as it finishes the circle through a huge roundabout region. The 360 degree turn provides travellers a beautiful perspective of the town of Darjeeling. The Batasia loop also has Gurkha Memorial, which is worth a visit.
