Day 1 - Arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus (Junction) / Siliguri and Transfer to Kalimpong.
Guest will be received by our official at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) - He will assist you for the forwarding journey to Kalimpong - It is approximately 80 kilometers and 2½ - 3 hours drive by road - The road is picturesque and runs along the River Teesta - Kalimpong is quieter destination - Situated in the Himalayas at an elevation of 1250 meters / 4100 feet - It is a Hill Station buzzing with fun, frolic and offers spectacular views - Check in at hotel - One is free in the evening to stroll around in the local market for relics and handicrafts or visit any nursery - Over night stay at Kalimpong
Day 2 - Kalimpong Local Sightseeing – Early morning breakfast and start the day for sightseeing.
Kalimpong weather is milder and pleasant for most part of the year - Kalimpong offers monasteries, temples, tourist complexes, heritage buildings, parks, flower nurseries, heritage schools, charitable institutes - Start with Zang Dhok Palri Phodang Monastery or Durpin Monastery – Army Golf Course – Flower Nurseries - Deolo - Hanuman Tok - Dr Grahams Home (school with high standard of education) - Heritage buildings like Gouripur House and Morgan House etc - One can spend 03 - 04 hours in Kalimpong doing sightseeing and then enjoy your lunch at any of the restaurants in town - back to hotel – Evening free to stroll around Kalimpong bazaar for shopping of handicrafts and relics - Over night stay at Kalimpong
Day 3 - Lava Excursion - Lava is roughly 40 kilometers from Kalimpong.
Lava and Loleygaon are two quaint mountain hamlets and surrounded by Neora Valley National Park - Altitude of Lava is 7700 feet while Loleygaon (Kaffer) is at 5500 feet – Lava and Loleygaon are 28 kilometers apart - Birds like Blue Robins, Fulvetta, Finch, Wren Babblers can be spotted - Lava Monastery (the original name is Jamgon Kongtrul Labrang Monastery) ambience with typical Tibetan architecture is serene and wonderful - Nature Interpretation Center of Neora Valley National Park can also be visited – Back to Kalimpong – Evening free to stroll around Kalimpong bazaar for shopping of handicrafts and relics - Over night stay at Hotel in Kalimpong
Day 4 - Departure from Kalimpong to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand.
After breakfast transfer to It’s a drive of 80 kilometers, 2½ - 3 hours - The drive will be along the River Teesta after 18 kilometers drive from Hotel - The way has pleasant climate and scenic beauty – Halt at Sevoke Coronation bridge for photography and a refreshment break before entering the town of Siliguri near Sevoke railway crossing – Drive to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) /Siliguri - Guest are advised to start early and not to rush - Forwarding Journey
Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
